Problem is we'll only ever see PNaCl support in Chrome. The nature of NaCl and PNaCl is that they rely on single implementations by Google which are designed around Chrome's internals, and so they are unlikely to ever be adopted by other browser vendors, aside from perhaps Opera, since it will be Chromium-based.
