One thing which certainly won't make Windows better is proprietary software which has to ensure that it has "No telemetry/spyware/ads".

The best version of Windows is the one Microsoft delivers. If you do not want that, then leave Windows. Making a Frankenstein with proprietary mystery software, is not going to do you any favors.

Some of us are forced, for various reasons, to use Windows. Anything that makes our life easier, is welcome.
