Apple realizes no one wants small phones (cultofmac.com)

Cheap bastards love things like the iPhone SE - it provides all of the capability they need for applications, fits in a pocket and doesn't break the bank. If they have better devices like big TV's or real computers, the fact that the screen is small or slightly less small doesn't matter as it's nowhere near the screen of choice.

I'm still using my SE that I got in 2016, and I hope it never breaks because it is the ideal size for my needs. It fits in either my shirt or jeans front pocket, and since I don't carry a purse, I don't know where I would put a bigger one. It does everything I need. Why would I want to watch movies on a cell phone, even if it's the size of an iPad?

I've been surprised at how convenient it is, even on my not-especially-gigantic phone (Google phone 5A).

I used to watch TV in bed, via my Kindle. When it broke, I switched to my phone, and it was actually a decent experience. The phone is small but it has a lot of pixels, so at the right distance it's actually a decent picture. And the sound is actually better than from my TV's not-top-of-the-line speakers.

Yeah, I know watching TV in bed is bad. But I sometimes download movies and watch them on the train, airplanes, etc. That's a healthier use-case.

I'm not getting rid of my TV, but when it's just me watching, it's a pretty positive experience to watch on my phone.

I want one, the problem with their new SE is the price, it's the price of a high end android phone

I said it already when it got announced that it would flop due to the insane price

Despite people always piling up against big phones here, in reality, vast majority of people prefer them.
