I want exactly the UI I bought, with perhaps some changes I chose myself. If the UI update is bad and the car is now worth less, you've damaged my property. Edit: apparently the updates are opt-in so it's not quite as bad, but still.

Yeah, but do they offer only security updates i.e. LTS? If they don't, you're still screwed.
