From the article, I could not understand if it is default or easily selectable.

The post and the theme link explains how to create a theme, but not if the dark one shown is available in stock installation.



It has a nice dark mode feature for web pages that is built in, but it doesn't apply to every page by default, or affect the prompt-buffer (minibuffer).

Also the code for that theming article doesn't really work, but if you fiddle with it you can get it going somewhat.

I say play with it for a few minutes :)
