Everyone is happy. I think that disproves just about every point in the blog post. I have no idea what non-obvious thing, if any, we're doing to make this work. Then again I don't think gitflow is complicated either.

I think the main point here is that it doesn't work for everyone, and is not a silver bullet. (Which is evident from comments)
