Right. That was my thought, but that's going to be a diminishingly small set of customers. Why go through the hassle of opening it up to everyone? I suppose it's "hip" to have a cool bootstrappy website and an API that anyone can use, but it's just not super useful for most businesses.
Granted it may be a diminishing set, but regardless of the size of the set it seems they would be a large portion of the business? Some sort of 90 10 rule.
