Do you just mean existing as rich as the stories depict? My understanding is that there is ample evidence Mansa Musa existed and ruled Mali: it's just the measure of his wealth that is questionable.
What is your basis for "It’s more costly to handle cash than to pay credit card companies."? It seems much more likely that they are encouraging cash with lower prices to avoid paying the typical ~1-5% transaction costs to Visa/MasterCard/Amex rather than a large scale tax evasion scheme.
I understand your point about handling cash requiring more labor (no self serve, armored trucks, etc) but I'd be surprised if the cash sales were less profitable than credit cards.
I completely agree with your overall point about the fantastic night sky but it should be no surprise that people suggest sunrise, as the Hawaiian Haleakala literally translates to "house of the sun".

I mostly just think it's weird that nobody even _mentions_ the transcendent night sky you might happen upon during a new moon or moonless part of the night.

Excellence requires some flexibility. Top-down dictates tend to set a minimum standard but frequently also de facto undermine the ability to hit a higher bar.
Yeah while the recent Dane County turnout was impressive I am similarly not convicted that it can be extrapolated to WI statewide elections generally. The Supreme Court race had huge spending and happened as the Dobbs decision was very fresh - it remains to be seen if that's an anomaly or maintainable.
I may just not be as picky as others but I have felt my System76 laptop's trackpad with PopOS is quite smooth. Improved from when I previously just installed Ubuntu on random Dell laptops.
My System76 laptop's trackpad is also very smooth. The only moment when the mouse freezes for a while (sometimes) is when using the default screenshot application.
I'm not sure where to find whole beans but I'm pretty sure many brands of instant coffee (e.g. the Folgers and Nescafe of the world) actually use Robusto or at least a blend of Robusto and Arabica.
