Good question. Publishing to FlakeHub makes an archive of the release, checks to make sure it evaluates cleanly in isolation, and publishes it to FlakeHub's storage.
This is to make sure that releases stay available in the long term, even through GitHub account renames or repository deletions.
currently this page is scoring an 82 on YSlow. Needs to make use of a CDN. Needs to add expires headers to external resources, and Needs to Configure ETags.
Really, what does YC need a CDN _for_? Just because YSlow says it doesn't mean it's actually a sane idea. They also say to turn off ETags, when what's actually good advice is to set up ETags in such a way that it works.
I think ultimately PG wasn't directly criticizing those who accumulate stuff, either. As I understood it, the issue is the attachment to the stuff, particularly when it inteferes with living a good life.
True. I think it also takes a sense of rebelliousness, in the sense of, "Why should I have to answer to anyone but myself?" That has been my attitude as long as my memory goes back.
Not at all. If I make your prototype and help you launch it. If it is a good product then eventually you will be able to add technical cofounders and they can come in and help even more. It also shows that you are good at something other than thinking and you are already trying to make your vision a reality. That alone, my friend, is worth millions. Doubt it let's go to a vc and you got an idea and I got the prototype.
I think you should be investing in having more time. Unless your company is what you want to be doing constantly, in which case you should invest all of your money in your company, so your company can do exactly what you want and doesn't have to take crap from anyone.
It uses uvicorn as recommended by the FastAPI docs.
