No that would make too much sense.

The US has so many cities, the politicians keep failing them.

Same in most places. :(

The person who ran Tumblr runs WaPo. What could go wrong?

You made the claim, what is your case?

I personally think the Commodore 64 as it was best price to performance you could buy. There is a reason why they call it the VW Beetle of Computers. Heck they are making new ones.

I had no idea the CoCo 3 was good until I watched this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r2Tq8jdS6mY

I expect to see this growing as local governments will be pressured to lower costs but maintain public safety. I'm not saying this will solve the issues, but I expect to see more and more departments trying this.

You're way less jaded than me.

I give this less than 2yr before being embroiled in a revenue enforcement scandal.

There's a TON of stuff you can do from the air that you can't do with a government employee on foot because of that pesky constitution and stuff like fences and locked gates. Being able to just look in any back yard at will without waiting for the annual aerial survey is too lucrative to resist the temptation.

I'm surprised that no one has tried to clone this car. There are replicas of older cars such as older Porsches, Shelbys and others but I can see a small market for people who would want a replica EV-1

And here in NYC we want to get rid of Gifted Programs

First you have the advocates that want technology to make things "safer", then you have the people who want to use the technologies as luxuries thus being able to charge more. Now you have the people who want to use the technologies to monitor you and use that to sell your driving data to whomever is willing to pay. Everyone wants this except drivers.

Some cars and trucks from the last 40 years were built incredibly well and when a specific vehicle was maintained well and not abused can provide very good options vs new super tech heavy vehicles. I have a Ford OBS truck from the 90s and I adore it. The only thing automatic on it is the transmission. Manual everything including windows. Considering a 2016 AMG GT as my next purchase for the same reason (different scale obviously). Just remove the GPS / cellular antenna and its pretty disconnected.

The "Internet" doesn't suck, people do and thanks to the Internet we can see that. It's not the technology, it's how people use it.

To me GOG needs a big picture mode like Steam. I want my PC to act like a console and that would help a lot

Why not just add the GOG games to Steam as non Steam games? Isnt that better anyway than having to launch GOG from the Steam BPM just to launch a game from their BPM?

Why would i want to launch a seperate launcher to launch my games?

The problem with many programmers is they think the world revolves around them. That their way is the only way. That everyone should be doing things the way they do.
