The Dion editor [1] is trying to tackling this problem, if I understand correctly. [2] has some sweet GIFs for you.

My personal motivation behind "law as a programming language" is to aid me, as a lay person [1], to understand it better.

An AST could help me quickly navigate between paragraphs, and make searching the law easier?!

---

[1]: Just someone, who wants to understand law easier, and not spent years having to study it.

"understand law easier" also in the sense of TLDR law.

And yes, I'm aware of the interpretation aspect of the law, but just give me some easy to understand starting point.

Edit: formatting, formulation

(While I may not have had your exact same conditions, I did felt the lowest in my life, before helping out in a farm)

> I’m considering either becoming a monk

Instead of "becoming", you could try to ask the temples, if they need help. I know people who go to temples, and they say, that there is always work to do. You would also get free veggie meals :)

Another option could be volunteer work on a farm, which I did. I attended a program, where you could help out families on farms for a week. They would give you shelter and food, and you would help them on their farm.

It tremendously help me out of my hole, and gave me a new perspective on life. I can expand on that, if you like. Just say so!

This comes right on time! I was looking for some tracking apps yesterday, but wasn't satisfied with any of the choices.

I went for an Apple Shortcut instead `speedy time tracker`.

However, I will switch to yours to show support!

It would definitely be nice to add shortcut capabilities in the future :)

-------

My Feedback:

- Starting/Stopping timers should happen on press of list item

- Editing should happen on swipe left (essentially swapping start and edit)

- Running times could be indicated in the list itself, no need for separate section "Running Timers"

- If, I want to resume, eg. Work, a dropdown appears, eventually leading to Work (total time)> Work (time1), Work (time2), which makes it hard to resume (Now I have to open the list)

Thanks! A shortcut is a good idea, I’ll look into that.

I’ll play around with your other suggestions but not sure if I’ll keep them (but thank you for them!). I had fiddled with how things worked and settled on where it is now because it felt the most intuitive to myself. For example when I had the running timers in the main list itself I found it easy to forget that I had a timer running. Grouping all running timers in one spot helped cut that down without too much fuss otherwise.

No problem!

I figured you had iteration already, and it's how you prefer things, so no biggies :).

But also thanks for your insights on the running timer ux

A Siri Shortcut would be great!

One drawback here is, that condensed water could accumulate under the cover, which can lead to even more problems

Will this project stay closed source?

(because I couldn't find any reference to a repo on the website and on your github, assuming that's you: https://github.com/mlejva?tab=repositories)

Currently, we don't mind open-sourcing it in the future. It'll probably stay closed source for a while. At least until we clean up the project a little bit. :)

Makes sense!

Love this project. And thanks for trying to solve something that I also struggled with.

Thank you!

As the next step, we want to launch on VSCode Marketplace like a proper extension.

Would you mind sharing an email (or Twitter handle, or anything else) so I could let you know once we are on the marketplace?

I was able to try it out for ~1 week.

Can highly recommend.

A cheaper alternative would be two have a 'high' desk with a separate treadmill (haven't tested this one myself, but am considering this setup)

Isn't it too hard to type using it? I tried using something improvised to mimic (I used the high desk as you say) but it was too hard for me to type consistently.

Def. needs time to get used to, was l-2 days for me. But hadn't have big problems typing after that.

> it can work with VISA or PayPal

Sounds promising, thank you, I will try them on my next donation

Thanks for laying out the pros and cons for you. On their landing page, it seemed like they only support "their" charities?

They run an extensive donation service, but looks a bit too extensive for me.

Thank you nonetheless!

Ty! Monero was mentioned twice here.
