Purely anecdotal, but I witnessed a person starting to experience a severe cognitive decline right after the two doses of the Shingles Vaccine. It can surely be a coincidence, but I was very surprised when I read about this study.

This anecdote is just that - a one off. We can use experiments, and papers to learn more, and should.

I agree, and I hope initiatives like the Digital Euro [0] will have success soon.

I do not think that it will fix these issues, but I gurantee you that in this present box some additional things will be brought to you ;-)

I don’t know if whatsmeow was intended for this use case: imagine a LLM performing multiple calls in a short period of time, could you risk to have your whatsapp account blocked by Meta?

I've been running and using a puppeting bridge [1] for my Matrix instance for more than 4 years with 3 different numbers and no problem at all.

The controls they have in place are probably based on behavior, rather than on access.

WhatsApp will ban you if it detect any kind of automation, if you use this or an other wrapper you will -very luckily- get banned, even without making calls. They want you to use their paid business API

Good to know WhatsApp is at least somewhat proactive against scammers.

It saves the messages in a local SQLite database on load — so querying shouldn't be an issue as it doesn't contact the WhatsApp server. For sending, this does use the API however and needs more caution

The lessons of lean manufacturing may not apply to design processes themselves, but a lean transformation in manufacturing often relies a lot on certain design choices (poka-yoke in assembling, standardization to cut setup times, etc). Design is often one of the most important factors in successful lean companies. I totally get the point, though.

I found that on Debian 12 (13th Intel Framework 13) connecting a 4K external display via HDMI is definitely more stable than USB-C. I also tried some Windows games with Steam Play and HDMI enables higher resolutions on the display (that was not the case with USB-C, I don’t know why).

Did you find also studies on long term effects? I couldn’t find any

I am under the impression there are few/none. It is a something your body makes but as you age, less and less is produced. There have been a lot of folks in athletic circles who use it regularly to heal injury. It one of those things that Big Pharma can't patent so there is no interest in producing it.

His argumentations don't seem shady to me: https://backstage.1blocker.com/say-hello-to-1blocker-x-8b55e...
