I ordered a soccer team jersey from UK which cost $100. I had to shell out $75 in tariffs. So yes while what you are saying might apply to businesses, there is a real cost paid by consumers as well.
That is interesting. Thanks for sharing I was interested in trying out a Porsche. Do the oil changes and other maintenance items cost significantly more than other makers?
Another place where auto can be useful is to handle cases where the function signature changes without making changes at the calling site. An explicitly typed var would need changing or worse, can work with some potential hidden bugs due to implicit type conversion.
This is one of the things static typing is supposed to prevent in the first place. It seems like a lot of people actually want a dynamically typed language, but try to change a static language instead.
It's been 5 years since it was blocked, and there has been a lot of competing apps. OracleTok would be no different from a new entry to the market which has little chance to win.
Sure it might have been unpopular and a silly cause. However that didn't stop the government from invoking the emergencies act and cracking down with impunity. There were even cases of finances being frozen.
Most of the time unless your club is playing, you'd root for a draw in games between top teams for the rivals to drop points. So rooting for a draw is more exciting for a Liverpool fan watching an Arsenal City game for instance.
I don't use my watch for running (using a 7 year old Fitbit versa). However, I do keep it on the entire day unless it is charging. I was curious what the weight of the Time 2 was going to be (I don't see it in the specs). I just wanted to compare the weight of it to my existing device. Thanks!
I am interested in learning piano myself having just gotten one for my kid. Did you learn it by yourself? If so any resources you can point in my direction? Thanks!
I've started recently, for an adult absolute beginner I would recommend: Alfred's Basic Adult All-In-One Piano Course (covers all types of music). A popular alternative is the Faber Adult Piano Adventures (more classical). Both books will go over how to position your wrists and fingers, music theory, as well as pieces.
I'm sure Alfred and Faber have books for kids. Check reddit and amazon. But you won't go wrong with books from either probably.
Late reply…
Self taught. YouTube has a ton of resources (recommend Pianote and Matthew Cawood). Learn some music theory basics, if you have the time study sheet music, you will understand what you are doing on a deeper level. I found it motivating to not only play simple pieces in the beginning but also harder ones that you enjoy listening to. They will be reallly hard initially but you will improve!
